Time: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Location: Hall High School
Presentations provided to parents, families and the community through workshops, exhibits and a health fair. Parents will receive the tools and resources necessary to gain greater knowledge and assistance to help their children achieve academic and social success through their educational experiences at school. Hands-on and practical information in math, literacy, homework, health and nutrition, discipline, science, safety, social studies, communication, study skills, resources for home-school connection, opportunities beyond high school, tutor and mentor opportunities for students and volunteering will be available.
Workshops for teens will be provided as well as childcare for ages 3-11, continental breakfast, and lunch. Door prizes will be awarded Several computers will be awarded to parents of students who do not have a computer in their home. Watson New Life COGIC will be observing the 3rd Pastoral Appreciation of Pastor David A.Withers and First Lady Nikki Withers on Saturday March 13,2010 at 7pm and Sunday March 14,2010 at 3pm.
